Setting up Shortlisting Questions

Click on Shortlisting under Applicant Tracking on the admin portal to access the shortlisting stage. 

This will bring up a list of jobs which have applicants at the Shortlisting stage. To proceed, press Start/Resume.

The next screen, below, will show all shortlisted applicants for a specific job, and this will provide information such as Awaiting My Review, My Outcome, Review Progress and Panel Outcome.

If you have already setup your workflow prior to shortlisting, then your panel members and shortlisting questions will be ready for review. If you would like to amend your questions for review this can be done by pressing the Edit Questions to view and amend existing questions or to add new questions.

Please Note: If you do not have any questions setup for review, a triangle will appear with the message No Review Questions have been created.


A pop-up will appear by clicking Add Question. This will display up the menu below.

Selecting the drop-down menu will bring up various options to categorise your questions.

Selecting Application Form, Criteria Section, or Additional Section will allow you to pull pre-existing questions, as well as any applicant answers. See next image for an example of choosing Competency Questions & the question ‘Please outline a time you worked well as part of a team’, from the application form. The ability to choose Scoring Method will then appear.
