ATS Stages

Stages allow applicants to progress through the recruitment process, from submitting an application through to onboarding. By default, each job is assigned the five standard workflow stages outlined below.

Process Applicants

This is the initial stage of the recruitment process, where all completed applications can be reviewed and assessed. Applicants can then be progressed to the next appropriate stage based on their suitability for the role.

Shortlisting

Applications can be reviewed by one or more users or panellists using review and criteria-based questions. Following the review, applicants can be assigned a pass or fail outcome, which can be used to support progression decisions.

Interviewing

This stage allows users to create interview time slots and invite applicants to book appointments through their My Profile or PIN account. Once bookings have been made, Microsoft Teams or Zoom links can be issued if interviews are being conducted remotely.

Interview review questions can also be configured within this stage. Interviewers can record pass or fail outcomes against each question, with an overall result calculated to assist in determining whether an applicant has been successful.

Applicant Selection

This stage acts as a holding area for applicants who have been assessed as either successful or unsuccessful. Successful applicants can be progressed directly to the Onboarding stage. It can also be used to manage reserve candidates should an applicant decline an offer or not successfully complete the onboarding process.

Onboarding

The Onboarding stage is used to complete the final steps of the recruitment process. Users can issue offer letters, contracts, and onboarding tasks to successful applicants, while also tracking and reviewing applicant responses.
